Jannie Schoeman

I was transferred from JHB First National Bank FNB to Cape Town in 2004 and started walking unbalanced so decided to see the doctor who in turn, after doing an MRI, handed me to a neurologist, Dr Kuyler. Dr Kuyler advised me that I have MS relapsing-remitting. I was put on early pension by the bank as I experienced cognitive decline challenges. I did not have another attack until 2012 which put me in a wheelchair for long distances. In 2015 I was placed on Avonex.

Thinking ahead decided to relocate to the UK in 2019. After seeing the MS Consultant placed me on Plegridy. I had bad injection sites with the injections and my mobility worsened. My medication was changed to Aubagio which is now working for me.
