At the time of diagnosis, I thought my life was over. I was 29, my career was flourishing, I was yet to meet the love of my life, but MS came and ruined everything! Or, so I thought at the time. It’s 20 years later and here I still am. No, I am no longer the high-flying corporate career woman, no, I can no longer dance on tables (who wants to at 49 anyway?), yes, I still have all the same precious friends and family by my side and biggest YES, I did meet the love of my life and 16 years after meeting, he is still my biggest support. MS did rob me of good health, when I dream, I can still walk, I had some pretty big plans, but seems God had other plans. I still have a great life and so can you.
